Hitchcock Nature Center is proud to host another amazing Hitchcock Experience Endurance Run, presented by the Greater Omaha Area Trail-Runnerz. Runners will descend upon the park on December 9th and 10th to take part in either a half marathon, 101K, 50-mile, or 100-mile endurance run through the picturesque Loess Hills. Trails and facilities at Hitchcock Nature Center will be open to the public for the duration of this event. Visitors are welcome to cheer runners on as they cross the finish line or tackle another hill. We do ask that anyone enjoying our trails please move to the side to give approaching racers the right of way. Thank you for understanding. For questions not answered online please contact Ron Ruhs, Race Director at email@example.com. Photo credit: Kylie Lang Elbin
The Petersens are an award-winning family band performing American roots music which is uplifting and brings people closer together. Their Arts Center debut in 2022 was a runaway success and now they return with their extremely popular Christmas show. The band is known for their tight vocal harmonies, instrumental prowess and warm sibling humor. Now in their 13th season of shows in Branson, MO, the band earned TripAdvisor’s rank of #1 show in Branson in 2019 and 2020. The band includes the four Petersen siblings: fiddler Katie, banjo player Ellen (an American Idol top 48 finalist), guitarist Matt, and mandolinist Julianne, their mother Karen on bass, and dobroist Emmett Franz.
