East Pottawattamie County Courthouse

Constructed in 1885, this secondary Pottawattamie County Courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has been proclaimed to have "the most beautiful courtroom in the state." Featuring a 200-year-old bench and canopy from an old English castle, the courthouse is available for tours by appointment.
