May 17 | 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.Council Bluffs Public Library
UNfortunately, this event has already occurred.
Perfect for beginning gardeners and anyone who is interested in supporting native plantings in their outdoor spaces, Gardening for Diversity will give you the confidence and background knowledge you need to grow a beautiful native garden that supports local wildlife and provides other great benefits for you and your community! Help us to help pollinators! We will turn a habitat desert into a beautiful and beneficial native plant community. During this last workshop, we will discuss how to space and layout plants, and give you plenty of chances to learn how to plant plugs and get a close-up look at each species. Location information will be emailed to participants a week before the program. Gardening for Diversity sessions are free for all attendees, but pre-registration is required. Ages 14+. Please meet in Meeting Room B at the library.
