Homeschool in the Hills PM | Loess Hills Geology

How were the Loess Hills formed and what makes them unique? In this session, we’ll examine the building blocks of the loess hills, their composition, and how ancient climate change contributed to their formation. We’ll also talk about how the topography of the Loess Hills has contributed to the survival fo prairie species in western Iowa during this month's Homeschool in the Hills program.

$5 per person. Accompanying adults and children under 3 are free. Children under 3 do not need a reservation.
