Perfect for beginning gardeners and anyone who is interested in supporting native plantings in their outdoor spaces, Gardening for Diversity will give you the confidence and background knowledge you need to grow a beautiful native garden that supports local wildlife and provides other great benefits for you and your community! Gardening for Diversity sessions are free for all attendees, but pre-registration is required. Ages 14+. This session will teach you how native gardening benefits wildlife and urban environments, help you choose a site for your garden, share ideas about plants to include and provide information about working with city ordinances and Homeowners Associations. Please meet in Meeting Room B at the library.
