Cheers to 20 Years! Friday: Free model trains and Hidden History of a Carnegie Library tours

The Union Pacific Railroad Museum is celebrating 20 years in Council Bluffs, Iowa, with free history tours in May and a party, along with cake, after this year’s Celebrate CB Parade. On Friday, May 12: An expanded model train display and layout will be open on the second floor of the museum to explore between 1 and 5 p.m. And in honor of the beautiful building that the Union Pacific Railroad Museum is housed in, we will be offering free special tours (usually $10 per person) on May 12 at two different times: 3 and 5 p.m. These tours will explore the building’s architecture and its role in both local and national history. No registration is required, but please check in at the front desk.
