The Union Pacific Railroad Museum is celebrating 20 years in Council Bluffs, Iowa, with free history tours in May and a party, along with cake, after this year’s Celebrate CB Parade. On Saturday, May 13: After enjoying the Celebrate CB parade in the morning, families can enjoy birthday cake courtesy of the Madison Avenue Hy-Vee on the north lawn of the museum, starting at 1 p.m. In addition to cake, there will be sidewalk chalk drawing and party games, and a baby animal activity from Pottawattamie County Conservation. Inside, from 1:00-5:00 p.m., visitors will discover train-themed crafts and stories, board games with Spielbound, a visit from Operation Lifesaver to learn about train safety, and an expanded N-scale model train display to see and enjoy.
