The Walnut Creek Historical Society hosts a tree festival each year in conjunction with the annual Christmas Walk held in Walnut thanksgiving weekend. Held in our relocated and restored country school, the festival is a showing of christmas trees decorated and submitted by local citizens. The public may visit the schoolhouse and vote on their favorite tree. Awards are given for most popular adult and youth-submitted entries.
